Ben Folsom, Owner/Principal Architect of Epic Facility Solutions of Georgia, LLC. He is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Architects since 1992. Over the years, the firm has provided complete project delivery services to clients throughout Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Louisiana. ​

 

Before starting Epic Facility Solutions, Ben focused his career on energy conservation including governmental, commercial and industrial engagements.  He was passionate about reducing costs and being a good steward of energy resources.  He has been a founding member and board member architectural and energy councils.  Ben testified as an expert before the US Senate Energy Committee to protect taxpayers’ energy expenses. 

In addition to his architectural project work, Ben is also an advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has served on the Board of Directors at Next Step Ministries in Woodstock since 2016, and as Board Chairman since 2020. He also serves as their Corporate Architect.  Ben joined First Baptist Church Woodstock in 2009 where he served as a Senior Project Manager for their Love Loud Community Assistance Program. In 2019 he served as the Architect for their “Thrive Suite”, a care center for their member’s children who have special needs.

Ben avidly supports Georgia Tech athletics (Go Jackets!) and the Atlanta Braves!!
